Soccer 2009

Blake is playing soccer this year for the first time. The kids are all 3 years old and they are super cute out there with their coaches. Blake loves his "ballee" but often wants to pick the ball up and carry it to where ever it needs to be. We have a great time every Saturday getting ready and then walking to the soccer fields behind Balls Bluff Elem. We live down the street from their future elementary school so it nice to stroll down there and not have to worry about parking.

Big time slacker

I am sorry that I have been a huge slacker lately. With my new job and all - I just haven't had time to sit down and upload the 200 pictures that were on the camera. There has been plenty of funny stories the last few weeks - some are not bloggable. We had Easter at our house and the kids enjoyed their egg hunt in the backyard. Daniel (Russ and Dana Todd son) and Blake had a great time. Jilly was a little out of commission because she hurt her foot on the way in and she needed her "daddy" from then on.

Grayson and Cooper have gotten to spend some time together lately and they seem to enjoy each others company. They are so quite and sweet together. Neither one of them say a whole lot unless they are by themselves whereas Jilly and Blake are live wires..... There is no shortage of personality with the older crowd whereas the little ones just soak it all in.

Easter bunny 2009

Easter Bunny at Fair Oaks Mall 2009. The boys were so excited to see the Easter Bunny and the best thing was that there was no line at all when we showed up at the mall tonight. We have never been that lucky. It is Grayson's first Easter Bunny visit and he was very curious about the bunny's whiskers. Blake was so smitten and wanted to say hi to him and probably could have sat there hours. I was impressed with this adorable bunny.

G is crawling

Grayson has been moving around for some time now but he is officially crawling so we better watch out because it will only get faster. He is so proud of himself to be able to crawl to a toy and then sit himself up to play with the toy. He did it the other day but I was the only one to witness the milestone but then tonight he was on a roll for all of us. My baby is crawling.....

It was a sweet treat since I started my new job today. I don't have a clue on what I will be doing exactly but it seems like a great group of people. I think it will be a good mix and the boys had a good time. Granted they were excited when I got there to pick them up so that always make me feel special. I promise to upload some pictures tomorrow.

Dora Live

No picture to show our fun experience today. Billy and I took Blake and Jillian to see Dora Live at the Warner theater in DC and had a great time. It was an early birthday present to Ms. Jilly and the kids had a great time. They squealed most of the morning being together and they remind me of siblings sometimes. Traffic was a bear because the Cherry Blossom Festival but we made it there in time and finally got home by 230. Blake and Jilly both interacted with the show and never acted out or anything. I am sorry that I don't have a picture of them walking around with their Diego backpacks that they brought with their spending money given to them from their Mommom. I probably should have given Billy a shot of tequila before we went but he did well considering there were gaggles of kiddies, meltdowns, rude people, and road rage.
